Industrial oils dip on weak demand

MUMBAI: Both castorseeds bold and castor oil commercial dipped further in an otherwise mute oils and oilseeds Vashi wholesale market here today due to weak demand from shippers and soap industries.

Meanwhile, groundnutoil, refined palmoil and linseed oil maintained stable trend in the absence of any worthwhile buying activity.

The castorseeds futures rates were unavailable. In non-edible section, castorseeds bold slipped by Rs 50 per 100kg to Rs 3,975 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 3,925 and castoroil commercial moved down by Rs 10 per 10kg to Rs 825 as against Rs 815 previously. Linseed oil closed unchanged at Rs 825 per 10kg.

Moving to edible segment, groundnutoil and refined palmolein both closed unaltered at Rs 810 and Rs 570 per 10 kgs, respectively.
