India Post to offer 7% discount on Gold coins

CHANDIGARH: India Post today said it will offer seven per cent discount on purchase of gold coins through post offices on the occasion of 'Akshay Tritiya' falling on May 13 and the offer will be valid till June 30.

The gold coins will available in the following 33 designated post offices across Punjab and UT Chandigarh, said an official release here.

The Gold coins will be available in 0.5 gm, 1 gm, 5 gm, 8 gm, 10 gm, 20 gm and 50 gm denomination of 24 carat with 99.99 per cent purity, it said.
