Gur prices end steady in thin trade

NEW DELHI: Lethargic conditions persisted in the wholesale Jaggery market in the national capital today as prices moved in thin trade on small bouts of trading before ending at last levels.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also finished without any changes on little doings. Marketmen said sufficient stocks position and sporadic buying mainly kept prices unmoved.
The following are today's quotations per quintal: Gur chakku 3,300-3,400, pedi 3,400-3,500, dhayya 3,600- 3,700 and shakkar 3,600-3,700.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket 2,750-2,825, chakku 2,900-3,050 and khurpa N.T.
Muradnagar: Pedi 3050-3,100 and dhayya 3,100-3150.
