Gur price remains steady on small buying

The wholesale jaggery market ended quiet in the national capital today following small buying support amid restricted supply.

NEW DELHI: The wholesale jaggery market ended quiet in the national capital today following small buying support amid restricted supply.

Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur market too remained flat on little doing.

Marketmen said scattered buying against restricted supply mainly held prices unmoved.

The following are today's quotations per quintal: Gur chakku 3,150-3,250, pedi 3,400-3,500, dhayya 3,450-3,500 and shakkar 3,400-3,500.

Muzaffarnagar: Raskat 2,750-2,800, chakku 2,750-2,950 and khurpa N.T.

Muradnagar: Pedi 3,050-3,100 and dhayya 3,100-3,150.
