Gur ends steady in thin trade

Steady conditions prevailed at the the wholesale Jaggery market here today as gur prices moved in a narrow range in limited deals.

NEW DELHI: Steady conditions prevailed at the the wholesale Jaggery market here today as gur prices moved in a narrow range in limited deals and settled around previous levels.

Marketmen said adequate stocks position against sporadic demand mainly kept gur prices steady.

The following are today's quotations per quintal: Gur chakku 2,600-2,700, pedi 2,650-2,700, dhayya 2,800-2,900 and shakkar 2,900-3,000.

Muzaffarnagar: Rasket 2,450-2,500, chakku 2,400-2,550 khurpa 2,250-2,375 and Ladoo 2,450-2,550.

Muradnagar: Pedi 2,400-2,450 and dhayya 2,400-2,450.
