Gur ends steady in delhi, decline in Muzaffarnagar

Wholesale sugar market held steady in the national capital as prices moved in a tight range on alternate small bouts of trading before ending at last levels.

NEW DELHI: The wholesale sugar market held steady in the national capital today as prices moved in a tight range on alternate small bouts of trading before ending at last levels.

On the other hand, gur prices slipped in Muzaffarnagar on ample supply amid reduced offtake.

Marketmen said increased arrivals from manufacturing areas against slackness in demand mainly pulled down gur prices in Muzaffarnagar.

In Muzaffarnagar, gur laddo prices declined by Rs.50 to settle at Rs.3150-3200 per quintal. Gur chakkku also fell by Rs 100 to Rs.3100-3200 per quintal.
