NEW DELHI: The wholesale (gur) jaggery market in the national capital ended on a steady note today with prices moving in a tight range and closing at previous levels.

Traders said adequate stocks position against restricted buying activity from local parties and stockists mainly kept gur prices unaltered.

Following are today's rates (in Rs per quintal): Gur chakku Rs 2,800-2,900, pedi Rs 3,100-3,200, dhayya Rs 3,100-3,200 and shakkar Rs 3,200-3,300.

Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,650-2,700 chakku Rs 2,400-2,500, chakku new Rs 3,000-3,150, khurpa Rs 2,700-2,800 and Ladoo Rs 3,000-3,100.

Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 2,750-2,800 and dhayya Rs 2,750-2,800.
