Groundnut mill delivery and palmoline oils weakened in the wholesale oils and oilseeds market on Monday on sluggish demand against adequate stocks position and closed with losses.

NEW DELHI: Groundnut mill delivery and palmoline oils weakened in the wholesale oils and oilseeds market on Monday on sluggish demand against adequate stocks position and closed with losses.

However, other edible as well as non-edible oils, remained flat in thin trade.

Marketmen said fall in demand against adequate stocks position mainly pulled groundnut and palmoline oil prices down.

In the edible section, groundnut mill delivery oil lost Rs 100 at Rs 7,700 a quintal on lack of buying interest from refining mills.

Palmoline (RBD) also eased to Rs 4,950 from Rs 5,000 a quintal respectively on lower Malaysian advices.
