Gram, urad decline on subdued demand, supply pressure
Gram and urad prices fell by Rs 50 per quintal on the wholesale pulses market today, largely due to sluggish demand against ample supplies.

Traders said apart from weak demand from stockists and retailers, ample supplies in the market continued to put pressure on select pulses prices.
In the national capital, gram, gramdal local and best quality extended weakness with prices falling by another Rs 50 each to Rs 3,100-3,700, Rs 3,750-3,850 and Rs 4,050-4,150 per quintal, respectively.
Urad and urad chilka (local) also fell by a similar margin to Rs 3,675-3,875 and Rs 4,550-4,900 per quintal, respectively.
