Gram dal, sooji prices up
Prices of gram dal and sooji went up while all other commodities ruled steady in the wholesale foodgrains market in Chennai.

CHENNAI: Prices of gram dal and sooji went up while all other commodities ruled steady in the wholesale foodgrains market here on Thursday.
Gram dal moved up by Rs 50 per quintal to Rs 3,250 against previous rate of Rs 3,200. Sooji edged up by Rs 25 per 90 kgs to Rs 1,525.
Thoor dal, moong dal, gram dal, sugar, wheat and maida remained unaltered.
Following are today's rates per quintal: thoor dal Rs 4,250, urad dal Rs.3,850, moong dal Rs.3,500, gram dal Rs.3,250, sugar Rs.1,400, wheat Rs.1,500, maida (90 kgs) Rs.1,425 and sooji (90 kg) Rs.1,525.
