CHENNAI: Prices of gram dal went up while all other commodities ruled steady on the wholesale foodgrains market here on Saturday.
Gram dal moved up by Rs 150 per quintal to Rs 3,250 against the previous rate of Rs 3,100.
Thoor dal, moong dal, gram dal, sugar, wheat, maida and sooji remained unaltered.
Following are today's rates per quintal: thoor dal Rs 4,250, urad dal Rs.3,750, moong dal Rs.3,500, gram dal Rs.3,250, sugar Rs.1,400, wheat Rs.1,500, maida (90 kgs) Rs.1,450 and sooji (90 kg) Rs.1,500.
