Gold, silver gain on good demand

MUMBAI: Gold and silver prices rose on the bullion market here today following good demand from stockists, according to Riddisiddhi Bullions Ltd.

Standard gold (99.5 purity) gained Rs 261 to quote at Rs 30,670 per 10 gms, while pure gold (99.9 purity) was up Rs 251 to Rs 30,810 per 10 gms.

Silver (.999 fineness) shot up by Rs 1,097 to Rs 48,870 per kg, it added.
