Festive offer: Post offices in Delhi to give 7% discount on gold coins

NEW DELHI: Indian Postal department on Tuesday said 28 post offices in Delhi will offer 7 per cent discount on gold coins during November 2-11 period.

"As part of "Special festive season offer", Department of Posts has announced to continue great Discount bonanza on the sale of Gold Coins at 7 per cent through its identified Post Offices in Delhi Circle," an official statement from Department of Posts said.

It added that special provision have been made to keep the designated Post Offices opened on that day and on the eve of Diwali.

"Special provision have been made to keep the designated Post Offices opened on that day and on the eve of Diwali," the statement said. These coins bear a logo of DoP which is certified by Valcambi Switzerland.

"People love the fact that this purest form of Gold Coins is tamper proof and are available in various denominations such as 0.5 gm, 1 gm, 5 gms, 8 gms, 10 gms, 20 gms and 50 gms," the statement said.
