Edible oils up on vanaspati millers buying
Edible oil prices firmed up to Rs 200 per quintal on the wholesale oils and oilseeds market on vanaspati millers and retailers buying for festive season.

Linseed oil in the non-edible section also moved up on increased enquiries from paint units.
Traders said vanaspati millers and retailers buying for the festive season against restricted supplies from producing regions mainly led to rise in edible oil prices.
In the national capital, palmolein (rbd) and palmolein (Kandla) oils declined by Rs 50 each to Rs 6,300 and Rs 5,900 per quintal, respectively.
In the national capital, mustard expeller oil (Dadri) rose by Rs 100 to Rs 7250 per quintal on local parties buying.
Cottonseed and sesame mill delivery oils also shot up by Rs 200 each to Rs 6,500 and Rs 9,200 per quintal, respectively.
In line with a general firm trend, soyabean refined mill delivery (Indore) and soyabean degum (Kandla) oils went up by Rs 200 each to Rs 7,200 and Rs 6,900 per quintal respectively.
In the non-edible section, linseed oil moved up by Rs 100 to Rs 6,600 per quintal increased demand from paint industries.
