Coriander, turmeric fall on subdued demand

Coriander and turmeric prices fell by Rs 100 each to conclude at Rs 11,300-16,300 and Rs 8,000-12,500 per quintal, respectively.

NEW DELHI: Coriander and turmeric prices fell by Rs 100 per quintal in the national capital today due to subdued demand from retailers and stockists amidst adequate stocks.

Also, pickup in arrivals from growing regions and weakening trend in futures market also put pressure on the coriander and turmeric prices.

Coriander and turmeric prices fell by Rs 100 each to conclude at Rs 11,300-16,300 and Rs 8,000-12,500 per quintal, respectively.

Marketmen said subdued demand from retailers and stockists against adequate stocks, mainly pulled down coriander and turmeric prices.
