Traders said subdued demand from consuming industries and a reports of a weak global trend mainly led to decline in copper prices.

NEW DELHI: In restricted activity, copper prices eased by Rs 2 per kg at the non-ferrous metal market today owing to slackened demand from consuming industries.

However, other base metals held steady in limited deals.

Traders said subdued demand from consuming industries and a reports of a weak global trend mainly led to decline in copper prices.

In the national capital, copper mixed scrap softened by Rs 2 to Rs 368 per kg.

Following are today's metal rates (in Rs per kg):

Zinc ingot Rs 108-114, Nickel plate (4x4) Rs 897-902, Gun metal scrap Rs 227, Bell metal scrap Rs 229, Copper mixed scrap Rs 368, Chadri deshi Rs 295.

Lead ingot Rs 94, Lead imported Rs 100, Aluminium ingots Rs 148, Aluminium sheet cutting Rs 144, Aluminium wire scrap Rs 144 and Aluminium utensils scrap Rs 142.
