Copper prices rose by Rs 2 per kg on the local non-ferrous base metals market today on increased demand from consuming industries.

NEW DELHI: Copper prices rose by Rs 2 per kg on the local non-ferrous base metals market today on increased demand from consuming industries.

Other metals however, held steady for want of support. Traders said increased demand from consuming industries mainly led to rise in copper prices.

In the national capital, copper mixed scrap rose by Rs 2 to Rs 431 per kg.
