Copper moves up on increased industrial demand

NEW DELHI: Copper prices moved up by Rs 2 per kg on the local non-ferrous metals market today increased industrial demand.
Traders said increased industrial demand mainly led to rise in copper prices.
In the national capital, copper mixed scrap gained Rs 2 to 417 per kg.
The following were today's metal rates per kg: Zinc ingot 115-121, nickel plate (4x4) 1,052-1,055, gun metal scrap 227, bell metal scrap 229, copper mixed scrap 417, chadri deshi 285. Lead ingot 138, lead imported 136, aluminium ingots 140, sheet cutting 141, aluminium wire scrap 144 and aluminium utensils scrap 140.
