Commodities sector may show weakness: Anu Jain

"You will probably have weakness come into that sector very very sharply and that has been known to give up very sharply."

Anu Jain, VP, IIFL, Private Wealth Management in an interview with ET Now gives her outlook on which sector is likely to be hit in the market.

Which sector amongst the domestic market do you think are more susceptible to a fall because yesterday it was banking which was fairly volatile...

Yes, since it is a dollar strength and it is commodities which are taking a rubbing all across, it goes without saying that you will probably have weakness come into that sector very very sharply and that has been known to give up very sharply so it could be a Tata Steel which falls down about 609, it could be Sterlite which has already broken some major levels could not hold out to 180 odd levels from there so can go down to 171.

Sesa Goa which despite the results has not been able to hold to levels so all of them can kind of go down about 4% to 5% depending on how the markets pan out anywhere between 2% to 5% so I would say that would be the sector which would really take the hit.
