NEW DELHI: Chana prices fell by Rs 26 to Rs 4,726 per quintal in futures trade today on continued profit-bookings by speculators at prevailing higher levels.

At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, chana for delivery in November fell by Rs 26, or 0.55 per cent, to Rs 4,726 per quintal, with an open interest of 84,040 lots.

Similarly, the commodity for delivery in December shed Rs 15, or 0.33 per cent, to Rs 4,530 per quintal in 84,110 lots.

Marketmen said continued profit-booking by speculators at prevailing higher levels mainly kept pressure on chana prices at futures trade.
