Chana futures down 0.57 pc on fresh arrivals
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, chana for delivery in April moved down by Rs 20, or 0.35 per cent, with an open interest of 71,590 lots.
Expectations of a higher production this year also put pressure on chana.

Similarly, the commodity for delivery in January lost Rs 18, or 0.44 per cent to Rs 4068 per quintal in trade volume 25,960 lots.
Market analysts said offloading of positions by speculators, driven by fresh arrivals from producing regions in the spot market mainly led to a fall in chana prices at futures market.
