NEW DELHI: Chana prices declined 0.41 per cent to Rs 2,889 per quintal in futures trade today as speculators reduced positions amid a weak trend in spot markets on sluggish demand.

At the National Commodity and Derivative Exchange, chana for delivery in November declined by Rs 12, or 0.41 per cent, to Rs 2,889 per quintal with an open interest of 1,07,310 lots.

Similarly, the commodity for delivery in October edged down by Rs 11, or 0.39 per cent, to Rs 2,791 per quintal in 35,500 lots.
