Caustic soda slips on lack demand
Prices of caustic soda flake slipped by Rs 10 per 50 kg in the wholesale chemical market on Saturday on lack of buying support from consuming units against fresh arrivals.

NEW DELHI: Prices of caustic soda flake slipped by Rs 10 per 50 kg in the wholesale chemical market on Saturday on lack of buying support from consuming units against fresh arrivals.
Caustic soda flake moved down to Rs 1,180 from previous closing level of Rs 1,190 a 50 kg.
However, other chemical prices fluctuated in a narrow range on lack of worthwhile buying activity and settled around last closing levels.
Marketmen said reduced offtake by detergent manufacturers caused caustic soda prices to ease.
