NEW DELHI: Caustic soda prices went down by Rs 50 per 50 kg in the national capital today owing to reduced offtake by consuming industries.
Furthermore, increased arrivals from producing regions weighed on prices.
Caustic soda flake fell by Rs 50 to Rs 1,850-1,950 per 50 kg.
Marketmen said subdued demand from consuming industries against increased arrivals from producing regions mainly pulled down caustic soda prices at the wholesale chemical market here.
