Castorseed futures rise on short covering
Castorseed prices rose by Rs 34 to Rs 3,518 per quintal in futures trade today following low buying by traders.

NEW DELHI: Castorseed prices rose by Rs 34 to Rs 3,518 per quintal in futures trade today following low buying by traders in line with firm domestic markets cue.
Marketmen said increased buying by consuming industries in physical markets in tandem with firm global markets trend mainly influenced sentiment here in futures trade.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, castorseed for far September contract rose by Rs 34, or 0.98 per cent, to Rs 3,518 per quintal with an open interest of 5,350 lots.
Most active June contract also gained Rs 15, or 0.47 per cent, to Rs 3,230 per quintal, having an open interest of 1,04,630 lots.
