Castorseed futures gain on fresh buying
Castorseed prices gained by Rs 32 to Rs 3,563 per quintal in futures trading today following low levels buying in line with firm spot markets cue.

NEW DELHI: Castorseed prices gained by Rs 32 to Rs 3,563 per quintal in futures trading today following low levels buying in line with firm spot markets cue.
Marketmen said after yesterday's sell off traders preferred to build up new positions at existing lower levels which resulted in pushing up castorseed prices.
Pick-up in industrial demand against restricted supply in physical markets further boosted the trading sentiments, they added.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, castorseed for the August contract rose by Rs 32, or 0.91 per cent, to Rs 3,563 per quintal in an open interest of 87,800 lots.
Most active near July contract advanced by Rs 30, or 0.87 per cent, to Rs 3,461 per quintal, with an open interest of 1,70,290 lots.
