NEW DELHI: Amid rising domestic demand and restricted arrivals from producing regions, cardamom prices rose 1.08 per cent to Rs 940 per kg in futures trading today as speculators enlarged their positions.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in April rose by Rs 10, or 1.08 per cent, to Rs 940 per kg in a business turnover of 2 lots.

In a similar fashion, the spice for delivery in May moved up by Rs 3.30, or 0.36 per cent, to Rs 920.70 per kg in 193 lots.
