Cardamom futures fall on profit-booking
Cardamom futures prices fell by Rs 10.20 to Rs 592 per kg today after speculators booked profits at prevailing higher levels amid sluggish spot demand.

Sufficient stocks position in the physical market also influenced the prices of the spice.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for December contract eased by Rs 10.20, or 1.69 per cent, to Rs 592 per kg, with a business turnover of five lots.
The spice for delivery in January fell by Rs 4.80, or 0.66 per cent, to Rs 712.30 per kg, with a trading volume of 505 lots.
Marketmen said besides profit-taking by speculators at existing prices, fall in demand in spot market also put pressure on cardamom prices at futures trade.
