Bajra prices rise on fresh buying

NEW DELHI: Barring a rise in bajra on fresh buying, other grains held steady on the wholesale grains market on Thursday in limited deals.

Marketmen said fresh buying by stockists on pick-up in demand from consuming industries amid restricted arrivals from producing belts mainly pushed up bajra prices.

In the national capital, bajra rose by Rs 15 to Rs 1,440-1,445 per quintal.
