Bajra eases on sluggish demand

Marketmen said reduced offtake against sufficient supplies mainly helped bajra prices to trade lower.

NEW DELHI: Bajra prices declined by Rs 10 per quintal in lacklustre trade on the wholesale grains market today due to reduced offtake against adequate stocks position.

However, other grains held steady in restricted activity. Marketmen said reduced offtake against sufficient supplies mainly helped bajra prices to trade lower.

In the national capital, bajra moved down by Rs 10 to Rs 1,405-1,410 per quintal.
