Almond prices up 3 pc on fresh demand
Almond prices rose up by 3 per cent in the wholesale dry fruit market here today on account of restricted arrivals against increased buying.

NEW DELHI: Almond prices rose up by 3 per cent in the wholesale dry fruit market here today on account of restricted arrivals against increased buying.
Almond girdhi traded higher at Rs 3,400 against previous level of Rs 3,300 per 40 kilo on restricted arrivals from overseas, which created tight stocks position.
However, prices elsewhere moved in a limited range on small alternate bouts of trading.
Following were today's quotations in Rs per 40 kg bag: Almond (California) new 8,400 Almond (gurbandi) 5,200 Almond (girdhi) 3,400, Almond kernel (California) 295-300 Almond kernel (gurbandi) (kg) 340-400 and Abjosh Afghani 6,000-12,000.
