Almond prices fall on subdued demand

Almond and its kernel prices fell up to Rs 100 per 40 kg on the local dry fruits market on subdued demand at prevailing higher levels.

NEW DELHI: Almond and its kernel prices fell up to Rs 100 per 40 kg on the local dry fruits market on subdued demand at prevailing higher levels.

Marketmen said subdued demand against adequate stocks position mainly led to decline in almond and kernel prices.

In the national capital, almond (California) declined by Rs 100 to Rs 12,900 per 40 kg, while its kernel shed Rs 4 to Rs 470-490 per kg.
