NEW DELHI: In limited deals, almond prices rose by Rs 12.50 to Rs 435.25 per kg in futures trading today as speculators created fresh positions amid a rise in demand in the spot market.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, almond for delivery in June rose by Rs 12.50, or 2.96 per cent, to Rs 435.25 per kg in single lot.
Analysts attributed the rise in almond futures to pick-up in demand in the spot market against restricted arrivals from producing regions.
