Almond futures rise 2.80% as spot demand picks up
Almond prices rose by Rs 10.50 to Rs 386 per kg in futures trade today largely on the back of rising demand in the spot market.
In addition, restricted arrivals from overseas market also supported the upside in the prices.
Almond for delivery in April gained Rs 10.50, or 2.80 per cent, to Rs 386 per kg, with a trading volume of 14 lots.
Market analysts said the firmness in almond in futures trade was mostly due to rise in spot market demand against restricted arrival from overseas market.
