Almond futures gain 0.32% on spot demand

NEW DELHI: In limited deals, almond prices gained 0.32 per cent to Rs 464 per kg in futures trading today as speculators created fresh positions, supported by an improvement in spot market demand due to ongoing marriage season.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, almond for delivery in June traded higher by Rs 1.50, or 0.32 per cent, to Rs 464 per kg in business turnover of 3 lots.

Market analysts attributed the rise in almond futures to pick up in demand in the spot market due to ongoing marriage season.
