NEW DELHI: SEBI Chairman C B Bhave today said three entities have applied for launching currency futures.
"As you know we have issued guidelines for currency futures. Three entities have applied for it," Bhave told reporters on the sidelines of a seminar here.
He said these entities are in different stages of preparing the software and setting up hardware for currency futures.
"We will go and examine their preparedness for launching currency futures. It (currency futures) is not something that is in our hand," he said.
