Piramal Enterprises to raise upto Rs 1000 crore via private placement

NEW DELHI: Piramal Enterprises today said its board has approved raising up to Rs 1,000 crore through issue of non-convertible debentures.

A meeting of Administrative Committee of the Board was held on July 21, 2016, it said in a BSE filing.

"The Committee approved issue of secured non-convertible debentures ( NCDs) aggregating up to Rs 1,000 crore on a private placement basis in accordance with SEBI (Issue and Listing of Debt Securities) Regulations, 2008," it added.

Piramal Enterprises Ltd (PEL) is the flagship company of Piramal Group and is present in the business verticals of healthcare and financial services.
