Piramal Enterprises plans NCDs issue to raise Rs 500 crore
Piramal Enterprises is mulling to issue non-convertible debentures (NCDs) to raise up to Rs 500 crore. The company, however, did not specify the purpose.

NEW DELHI: Piramal Enterprises is mulling to issue non-convertible debentures (NCDs) to raise up to Rs 500 crore.
"A meeting of the Committee of Directors ( Funding) of the company will be held on January 5, 2016 to consider and approve the issue of secured non-convertible debentures amounting up to Rs 500 crore," Piramal Enterprises said in a filing to the BSE.
The company, however, did not specify the purpose for raising the fund.
Piramal Enterprises is the flagship company of Piramal Group and is present in the healthcare, financial services and information management verticals.
Piramal Group currently has operations in over 30 countries and a strong presence in more than 100 markets around the world.
