India's 10-year government bond yield saw a sharp drop today. Traders reported an erroneous trade caused the yield to fall significantly.
India's 10-year benchmark government ⁠bond yield dropped 14 basis points ‌in early ‌deals, which ‌traders say was an erroneous trade.

The 10-year bond yield opened at 6.6362% ‌after ‍closing at 6.6401% ‍on Friday and fell ‌to 6.4964%, the lowest since December 8.

"It was a fat ‍finger error, and the ‍trade ⁠would ⁠be reversed later," a trader with a private bank said.
