Foreign investors significantly increased their holdings of Italian government bonds in June, marking the largest net purchase since June 2019.
Foreign investors' net purchases of Italian government bonds rose in June by the largest amount seen in any month since June 2019, the country's central bank said on Tuesday.

The exposure of foreign investors rose by 34.2 billion euros ($39.94 billion) after an increase of 2.07 billion euros in May, Bank of Italy showed in its monthly balance of payments publication.

In June 2019 foreign investors bought 35.2 billion euros in Italian government bonds.
