China hits 94.6% of year's target for special bond issues by local goverment bodies

BEIJING: New special bond issuance by local government bodies in China totalled 3.5466 trillion yuan ($528.25 billion) by the end of October, to hit 94.6% of the year's target, the finance ministry said on Wednesday.

Overall bond net issuance by local governments in the same period stood at 4.4945 trillion yuan, the ministry said in a website statement.
