Call remains steady around 6.1%

Benchmark 7.59% ’16 stock ended slightly changed at Rs 95.36/40 but its yield remained unchanged at 8.29% and the 7.37% ’14 paper also quoted barely steady at Rs 95.28/32 with a yield of 8.20%.

The 7.55% ’10 security, however, was quoted higher at Rs 99.34/39 (yield 7.74%) and the 9.39% ’11 gilt at Rs 105.86/88 (yield 7.92%).

However, the 7.27 per cent 2013 paper was quoted barely steady at rs 95.50/60 (yield 8.11 per cent).The reserve bank of india (rbi) mopped up rs 27,070 crore through 25 bids at the one-day reverse repo auction today at six per cent under the liquidity adjustment facility (laf).
