Bharat Bond ETF, which mobilized Rs 12,000 crore, listed on the bourses today. At 10 am, both the units were trading at Rs 1,001 on NSE, a premium of Re 1 to the offer price of Rs 1,000.

The exchange-traded fund will invest only in AAA-rated bonds of public sector companies for two fixed maturity period of three years and 10 years.

The issue managed by Edelweiss Mutual Fund opened for investors from December 12 to December 20 and was subscribed 1.7x its base size of Rs 7000 crore. Debt ETFs are a new concept for Indian retail investors


Bharat Bond Funds of Funds (FOF) was also launched for investors who do not have demat accounts. Investors can repurchase or buy units through this method beginning January 2.
