Where: Corck, Ireland >> Cork Week is held every two years and hosted by the Royal Cork Yacht Club, the world’s oldest yacht club located in Crosshaven. It is Ireland’s largest sailing regatta and attracts yachts from across the world, bringing the coastline along County Cork alive with the colourful boats — while the associated onshore activities ensure that the celebrations last well into the night! www.corkweek.ie

Where: Southbank Center, London >> This festival brings together international, world class poets, authors and speakers representing the spectrum of creative disciplines for more than a week of talks and events. JIAYUGUAN INTERNATIONAL GLIDING FESTIVAL
When: July 15-18 , 2012
Where: Jiayuguan, China >> Jiayuguan Pass International Gliding Festival is held annually and activities include gliding contests and flight training are arranged. Tourists may experience this unique activity under the direction of the pilots and enjoy the vast Gobi Desert and snow sceneries of Qilian Mountains.

Where: O2 Arena, Prague >> American rock band Pearl Jam has seen the rises and falls of the music industry. Known as one of the most influential music groups of the century they will be performing as part of the Prague celebrations.
