Rajasthan boasts of a vibrant history and culture, be it royal forts and palaces or mystifying tribes spread over various regions, it highlights a rich legacy. The tribes in Rajasthan are quite different from each other and represent a distinct heritage from the rest of the civilized population. Generally, living in hamlets known as ‘dhannis’, a visit to any of these areas remains a timeless journey of life and experience.

While the Bhil community mainly resides in areas of Udaipur, Dungarpur and Chittorgarh, Meenas remain the largest tribal group, which are spread over various regions in Rajasthan.

Settled in Sirohi, Udaipur and Pali districts of Rajasthan, Garasia is another tribal community, which is also known as the fallen Rajputs of Rajasthan.

Bishnoi village safari is another experience to tour through the quaint and small village near Jodhpur. Being deft agriculturists and shepherds, the tribal community is also famous for block printing work. While interacting with the villagers, one can try hands at milking cows and creating pots.

Gaduliya Lohars, Sahariyas (Kota, Dungarpur and Sawai Madhopur), Damors (Dungarpur and Udaipur), Meo and Banjara (the travelling tribes), Kathodi (Mewar), Rabaris (gypsies, Marwar), Sansi and Kanjar are some of the other tribal communities in Rajasthan.
