The fifth Asian Beach Games will be held at the popular tourist destination of Nha Trang. It will be the second Asia level multiple sports event to be hosted by Vietnam, following the 3rd Asian Indoor Games in Hanoi in 2009. The games will see approx 172 events in 22 sports to name a few; basketball, beach polo, handball, kabbadi, swimming, volleyball, soccer, wrestling and more.

Where to go in Nha Trang?

Nha Trang is becoming increasingly popular in recent years because of its pristine beach,scuba diving centres, lots of interesting places and delicious food to enjoy.

Nha Trang from January to August has great weather for swimming and sunbathing.

With series of complexes such as Vinpearl Land, Tri Nguyen Aquarium, Hon Tam, Nha Trang is a popular entertainment centre. Designed to be an independent recreational spot, Vinpearl Land complex is built in an island, including a five-star international resort and an amusement park.

Surrounded on all three sides by mountain ranges, Nha Trang also offers the picturesque views of forest, waterfall, and mountain peaks. Located 60 km far from the city centre, with the height of 1578m, Hon Ba Peak is a must-visit. Tourists can drive for about 25km of mountain pass and bendy slopes to reach the Hon Ba Peak.
