Relax in an easy to reach destination this season

The very term, ‘visa on arrival’ sounds like music to an eager traveller’s ears. So much so, that even if you have to obtain a transit visa, it makes the trouble seem worthwhile.


Indonesia and Jamaica are two destinations with inviting and scenic beaches. Dunn’s Water Fall in the latter is also a major tourist attraction and a great escape from the summer heat of India. Fun and frolic apart, if you love animals, Madagascar is just the place you need to head to.

INDONESIA

The beaches in Bali, a province in Indonesia are more than just spots to laze around and indulge in water sports. Once the sun sets, the shores turn into prime spots for parties, dancing and a whole lot of fun. Lake Toba, the largest volcanic lake in the world, is also worth a visit as is the Hindu temple Prambanan and the Istiqlal mosque. A lot of Madagascarfs flora and fauna, like lemur monkeys and see through chameleons are exclusive to this region. While the towering Baobab trees are a must see, make time to check out the Big Tsingy stone forest here. It takes a full day to reach, but is worth it. JAMAICA





You can go beach hopping in Jamaica. Doctorfs Cave Beach is one of the most recommended beaches to visit, or you can soak up the natural beauty by taking a dip in Dunnfs River Fall. You can even take a safari on the Black River, on the south coast of Jamaica and explore the fauna and flora in the region. Of course, no trip to Jamaica is complete without paying a visit to the museum dedicated to reggae legend Bob Marley in Kingston. - visitjamaica.com
