Pic of the week: Fascinating India
ET-Travel reader Amit Bhandari’s recent travels took him to Orchha in Madhya Pradesh. He says of his visit, “The most fascinating aspect of Orchha is its peaceful and has picturesque locations.

It has palaces, forts, temples, chhataris, beautiful Betwa River and a nature reserve. Besides Raja Ram Temple (where Lord Ram is worshipped as a king) and Jehangir Mahal, the most fascinating place is Lakshami Temple, with most amazing paintings painted on the walls and roofs.
You can cross Betwa through a small bridge built on it, which you can walk on almost as you walk out of the town. Though the guide books tell you that you can cover Orchha in two hours, you need at least two days to see it fully, in my opinion.”
