- Amritsar is the spiritual capital of the Sikhs and gained its name, meaning ‘Holy Pool of Nectar', from the body of water around the Golden Temple. Photographers from across the world visit Amritsar to click The Golden Temple and the Jallianwala Bagh as they re-live Indian history on frame.

- Tourists can also head to Mohali and visit Gurudwara Amb Sahib, a historical shrine and Fateh Burj, is also worth a visit as it is the tallest tower in the city.
