Party your way to 2015! Play a tune and get grooving

Stay excited — that's our advice for getting the most out of your upcoming New Year's Eve Celebration.

Party your way to 2015! Play a tune and get grooving
Take a minute to get over the thought, 'The year 2014 has zoomed by already.' Now, that we are in December, it's time to plan, debate, discuss Christmas and New Year jamboree. Hold it, not business strategies but party schedules.

As the clock ticks down to midnight, where would you like to be? Amidst a crowd gathered in Times Square, or in London enjoying the fireworks. Around the world, locals celebrate the passing of one year to the next with hints of their own culture and tradition.

For instance in Iceland, the party starts with community bonfires which symbolise the burning away of the previous year's troubles. In St. Petersburg, Russia, locals bundle up to admire fireworks above the partially frozen Neva River—and send paper lanterns up into the night sky.

If you want to be by the beach, Ibiza and the Bahamas offer great weather appeal along with traditional street parades. In India, head to Goa, Rann of Kutch, Ooty, Shimla and other destinations to extend the celebrations. All we say is, pick and choose wisely!
